This Data Protection and Cookies Policy (the “Policy”) sets out the conditions under which your personal data (the “Data”) may be collected, used and processed by Héritage Sauvage when you use the website www.heritagesauvage.com (the “Site”) and/or engage Héritage Sauvage for the provision of its services (the “Services”), in compliance with applicable personal data protection laws, in particular the French Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978 as amended (“Informatique et Libertés”) and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the “Regulation”).
Héritage Sauvage reserves the right to amend this Policy at any time. You will be informed of any substantial changes. The version in force is the one published on the Site.
For the purposes of this Policy, the data controller is Héritage Sauvage, a simplified joint-stock company (société par actions simplifiée) with share capital of €1,000, whose registered office is located at 17 Avenue de la Croix Blanche, 40310 Gabarret, France, registered with the Mont-de-Marsan Trade and Companies Register under number 101 773 323.

Héritage Sauvage may collect your Data directly from you, in particular through the contact form you complete to arrange a video or phone call with us, when you send us an email, when you order a Service, during our telephone or email exchanges regarding your project, when you subscribe to our newsletters or updates, and/or when you browse our Site.
The Data that may be collected in the above contexts includes:
• First name(s) and last name(s);
• Email address;
• Phone number;
• Information relating to your project and necessary for the performance of the Services;
• Content of exchanges with Héritage Sauvage, including, where relevant, preference data or specific sensitivities such as health data (disability, allergy or specific health condition) or data that may indirectly reveal information about religion, beliefs or personal convictions (e.g., dietary requirements);
• Any other information you may provide when using the Site or engaging our Services, including, in the case of the “Conciergerie Prestige” Service, weight, height, and copies of identity documents.
The Data collected may also concern third parties, in particular individuals participating in the travel project whose Data you provide to us. In such cases, you warrant that you have informed these individuals of this transmission and of the terms of this Policy.
Whether the provision of your Data is mandatory or optional will be indicated at the time of collection (e.g., by an asterisk). Where you do not provide mandatory personal data, Héritage Sauvage will not be able to respond to your request and/or provide the requested services.
Your Data is collected and used by Héritage Sauvage for the following purposes:
Management of contact and information requests (via the contact form or email) ;
Depending on your request, the legal basis is either :
- If your request is not related to a subscribed Service: Héritage Sauvage’s legitimate interest, specifically its economic interest in providing quality customer service and follow-up;
- If your request is related to a subscribed Service: performance of the contract between you and Héritage Sauvage.
Analysis of travel needs and projects ;
Legal basis: Héritage Sauvage’s legitimate interest in meeting clients’ needs and offering tailor-made travel
Performance of Services;
Legal basis: performance of the contract between you and Héritage Sauvage.
Communication of information, recommendations, and user-consented content (including newsletters where subscribed) ;
Legal basis: the user’s explicit consent, collected when using the Site and/or contact form.
Improvement of the Site and user experience via cookies
Depending on the type of cookies, the legal basis is either:
- The user’s explicit consent for non-essential cookies;
- Héritage Sauvage’s legitimate interest in providing a functional Site and improving it where necessary.
Your Data is intended exclusively for Héritage Sauvage.
However, it may be shared with technical service providers acting as processors, notably for website hosting, technical management of the Site, and audience measurement tools. These providers only access Data strictly necessary for the performance of their services.
As part of the “Conciergerie Prestige” Service, Data may also be transferred to third-party service providers involved in the destination country(ies) of your project, particularly for availability checks and the provision of Services, including, where applicable, if you enter into direct contact with them for purchasing travel-related services and for the subsequent preparation of your travel booklet.
In the event of transfers of your Data outside the European Economic Area, Héritage Sauvage uses its best efforts to ensure that recipients protect your Data. However, as these third parties act as independent data controllers in relation to the purchase and execution of travel services, Héritage Sauvage cannot be held responsible for their use of your Data in this context and invites you to review their respective privacy policies.
Your Data is retained for limited periods:
· Data relating to contact requests without contractual follow-up: twelve (12) months from the last contact;
· Data relating to marketing activities: until consent is withdrawn or three (3) years from the last contact initiated by the client;
· Data relating to customer relationships: until the end of the contractual relationship, then archived in accordance with legal obligations (generally five (5) years);
· Browsing data:
- strictly necessary cookies: 13 months lifespan, with collected data retained for 25 months;
- consent-based cookies: 6 months lifespan, with associated data retained for the same duration.
The Site uses strictly necessary cookies for its operation, as well as, where applicable, audience measurement cookies and cookies aimed at improving the user experience.
Preferences can be managed via the cookie management tool available on the Site.
In accordance with the Regulation, you have the following rights regarding your Data:
· Right of access: to obtain confirmation that your Data is processed and to receive a copy, along with key information about the processing;
· Right to rectification: to correct or complete inaccurate or incomplete Data;
· Right to erasure: to request deletion of your Data in applicable cases (e.g., unnecessary data, withdrawal of consent, unlawful processing);
· Right to restriction of processing: to request temporary suspension (“freezing”) of Data processing in certain situations;
· Right to object: to object to processing based on legitimate interest or for marketing purposes, unless overriding legitimate grounds exist ;
· Right to data portability: to receive your Data in a structured format and transmit it to another controller (where processing is based on consent or contract performance) ;
· Right to withdraw consent: at any time, without affecting prior lawful processing;
· Right to define post-mortem directives: to determine how your Data should be stored, deleted, or shared after your death.

If, after contacting us, you believe your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (in France, the CNIL).
